Clear amber colour with a small off-white head.
Strong hoppy aroma with resiny, fruity and piney notes and with sweet malty balance. Sweet malty flavour with caramel, moderate bitterness and piney hops. Rather sweet but tasty IPA.

Aquesta cervesa té la seva història. Vaig tastar-ne la primera fornada quan encara era de 7%, i la veritat és que llavors era un gran producte. Més endavant van introduir canvis sembla, quedant en 6%. Ja mai va tornar a ser el que era, recentment la vaig tornar a beure després d’haver reposat l’ampolla més de mig any, i ni així s’acostava al que jo recordava. El color ataronjat-roig em sembla que és l’única cosa que segueix igual. Ahir en un bar novament vaig demanar una ampolla, confirmant el que ja anava veient. Una llàstima, no se molt bé com valorarla. Li poso aquesta puntuació decent encara que només sigui pel que va ser.

In bottle. Smells like asphalt and grass. Tastes malty, like copper, wood, and ends with a not so pleasant grapefruit finish. Disturbing label too.

0.33l bottle @ Bar SF, Barcelona. This is a cloudy orange-copper colored one with a small off-white head. It has a citrussy aroma with some sweet peach, lots of kiwi, thick malty sweetness and some caramel. In the taste I get some dark malts, light cocoa-chocolate tones as well, it’s bitter with a good amount of resinous hops. Ends on the dry side with some tones of alcohol and something that reminds me of licorice roots. Not bad at all. 06.08.2012

06/12 0.33 l bottle from L’Espumossa, Barcelona, finally came on the menu! It poured hazy reddish brown body with medium sized head. Fine caramel and orange peel to herbal hop aroma. Lightly sweet flavor, biscuit, sugary, vanilla malty with bitter hops failing to balance it properly for the style. Medium in body with nice and long finish, bittersweet. Pleasant, although less hopped IPA. Anyhow, expected more of it.

Cerveza rojiza (como la sangre de perra). Espuma fina y cremosa. Olores aflorados. Sabor al primcipio amargo, que pasa a afrutado, almendra, refrescante y graso. Poco gaseasa pero bien equilibrada.

Botella, takk fyri yespr. Deep amber golden hazy golden. Sweet ripe fruity aroma with soem citrus to it. Fllavour is sweet with a nice pleasant (ripe)fruity hoppiness, some citrus, caramel and a good medium bitterness.
