Cuerpo medio. Mas o menos buena.

33 cl bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. Lot 1268, bottle 0738. What a goofy label!

App.: Copper with floaters and a full, very rocky, dirty light tan head. Aroma: Intense, peppery, leafy, citrus, pine/resin, a bit vegetal?, can’t find much malt here. Palate: Medium body, sloppy carbonation. Flav.: Very peppery and leafy, green vegetation, pine/resin, a little citrus, hops overpowers malts here too; dry with reasonable bitterness, far less than expected from the nose, with a zesty, resinous finish that shows just a hint of malt character.

Doesn’t seem to be 100 IBUs. OK, still a bit unbalanced.

Pretty bitter beer, and may have been even more so before shipping here. Liquified hop pellets are substantive part of it, the rest being a milder bitter beer, still reasonably carbonated. Medium brown with some retained head. Thanks Boutip.

Bottle: Poured a deep cloudy amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of bitter hops notes with a solid dry caramel malt presence. Taste is also dominated by loads of bitter hoppy notes with light citrus undertones with a solid dry caramel malt backbone with a light spicy finish. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. It had been a while since I tasted such a bitter tasting beer.

330ml bottle, slight cloudy dark amber hue, with a thick pillowy beige head, with a yeasty, light pale, toasted malt, wet floral leafy, grassy hop nose, with some kind of tea, tobacco leaf accents, with a hint of citrusy in the aroma follows through on a medium-boided palate with a mild toasted, pale, caramel malt, and an intense flowery leafy, cedary, grassy hoppy character, within a lemon, lime rind, piney backbone, leading towards a good lingering leafy, grassy, piney hop bitterness finish.
