A surprising Trappist from Zundert. Very nice nose and beautiful amber color. The taste itself doesn’t fully deliver, making it a noteworthy new Trappist that’s worth a try.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy golden beer with good head. Typical triple in the style, well malty, toasted grain notes, bit of astringency, with sweet caramel notes, good belgian yeast notes as well as grassy hops, pleasant bitterness too. Finish is long on grassy and sweet toasted malt on aftertaste, light licorice, very nice.

Thanks to Edmunds.
bottle,
Pours pale yellow, quite beige color for tripel. Soapy, bubbly-thick foam, vanishes fast. Aroma- quite nothing extra, just malty, bready, biscuity a bit without significant sugary-yeasty or fruity esters. Quite the same flavor, just malty sweet brew without any difference from Belgian pale ale, hopping level- low. Not bad, even tasty but there is nothing to call it trapist tradition. Medium bodied.

Bière au goût de caramel et de sucre de canne, on goûte l’alcool . Goût très prononcé, mais l’arrière goût est inexistant

33cl bottle from Roybeer, Milan. Porse clear orange amber with two fingers of bubbly off white head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, candied fruits. Taste is less pleasant with a predominant malty sweetness and a slightly off final bitterness. Medium body, medium to high carbonation. Deluding trappist triple.
