A surprising Trappist from Zundert. Very nice nose and beautiful amber color. The taste itself doesn’t fully deliver, making it a noteworthy new Trappist that’s worth a try.

330ml Bottle - Dark amber with a foamy head. Sultanas, marzipan and caramel in the aroma. Fruity and slightly sweet taste with sultanas, dried apricot, toffee and peach. Easy to drink and enjoyable.

Light brown color with a good formation of a light tan head, almost beige with good duration. Aroma has notes of light ripe fruits and caramel. Flavor is toasty, caramelish, some spices and slightly sweetness. Sligtly bittery final with toasted and light spiced hints.

Nueva trapista con demasiado gas al principio y un color anaranjado, es del sabor típico de las belgas con un toque un pelin amargo al final, según se asienta gana bastante. Se puede repetir si baja el precio, no está mal.

Great amber colour and ditto head. Somewhere between a typical Tripel and an Orval. Medium body and finish. Some pepper and a fizzy feeling lingers on the tongue for a long time though.

The OTHER Dutch Trappist. Bottle into La Trappe glass (somewhat appropriately). Quite a beautiful beer on many levels. Red-bronze color, big creamy head that sticks forever. Aroma is awesome. Very creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is actually quite light, but it seems to suit the overall softness of this beer.

Pours amber, medium head, not very persistent. Nice fruity aroma, orange zest, Light body, 8% alcohol does not reflect in palate or taste. Nice sweet finish, and drinks easy in spite of high alcohol content. Think of it as handcrafted Leffe Very good!

Has an amber-red color with a decent, froth, slightly bubbly head. Smells unexpectedly hoppy, of wet grass with yard herbs, paired with a fair amount of lemon peel. Biscuity malts and slightly spiced yeast along with a honeyed note let the hops appear even more pleasant. The taste got much more bready malts and spices than the nose revealed. Also the hops dont play an important role in this, other than adding a semi dry balance during the sweet finish, without revealing any mentionable flavors. A pungent spiciness emerges from the lively carbonation, which dispels the smooth, yeasty beginning, enhancing the peppery, sweet spiciness. Finishes with a coppery note among cane sugar and pepper.
