A surprising Trappist from Zundert. Very nice nose and beautiful amber color. The taste itself doesn’t fully deliver, making it a noteworthy new Trappist that’s worth a try.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear amber body with a large off-white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of toffee, overripe apple, earth and copper. Flavour of fig, peppery spice, wholemeal bread and brown sugar. Medium body with a slick texture. Very fizzy. A decent Abbey Tripel, just not particularly complex.

Poured from a bottle courtesy of my Summer Secret Santa. Aroma is rather estery with a nice floral note and quite a bit of stone fruit, pear and bubblegum. A light phenolic note and a touch of alcohol spice. Medium light caramel, light sugar and faint toasted bread. Pours a hazy, copper red with a large, thick, rocky tan head that slowly falls into itself before levelling off at a moderate size. High lacing with moderate legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with some caramel, light sugar and toasted bread. Medium light bitterness. Moderate ester notes of stone fruit, pear and bubblegum. Some light banana and phenolics. A hint of alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer, clean and full of esters. Some decent malt notes with light phenolics and bitterness. Bitterness is a bit rough though.

Pours hazy amber with a thick beige head. Smells like caramel, very fruity, burnt sugar, sweet nuts and raisins. The taste is very pleasant with hints of caramel, burnt sugar, dried fruits, dates and raisins. The mouthfeel is champagne like and leaves the mouth sticky like sirup.

(bottle) clear deep amber colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of floral hops, honey and caramel, with a touch of alcohol, some bubble gum and powdered sugar. flavour is mostly yeast, caramel and herbal hops, with more alcohol, a light hint of canned corn, peanuts and a light-bitter finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

On bottle with Visionthing, thanks a lot! Deep golden color, good foam. Medium aroma intensity; malt, lighter dried fruits, light honey, wheat with light fruitiness. Medium body & complexity. Some sweetness, balances ok- but a bit too sweet for me ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
