Le Trappiste in Bruges. Pours a nice deep amber colour, quite hazy with a creamy tan head. Subtle aroma of apricots, peaches, and yeast. Taste is moderately sweet, no real bitterness and nothing overpowering about it, somewhat bland. Soft/smooth mouth feel, average carbonation, and light-medium body. Good beer.

33cl bottle, served in Trappist glass. Pours dark orange, slightly amberish, with nice off-white head. Beautiful lacing. Both aroma and taste are caramel, yeast, fruits and cereals. No alcohol presence. Very pleasant sweetness, some bitter notes on the palate as well. Medium body, perfect carbonation. Awesome! great job ;)

Cloudy amber/copper fluffy white head. Aroma has some noble hops and bit yeast that’s either gone slightly bad or has that in fermentation esters. Otherwise very good aroma and really enjoyable. Flavour has some metal, but clean tripel otherwise. If this is even a tripel.

33cl bottle at home from Mitra, Maarssen. Body is opalescent deep amber, head is big, cream white, creamy, average lasting, good lacing. Nose is floral, fruity, flavor is honey, fruity, biscuit. Medium to heavy sweet, light bitter, light fruity sour. Finish is medium lasting fruity medium bittersweet light sour, hint of umami, medium alcohol warmth. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Easy sweetish fruity belgian style beer, surprisingly good as it not my style.

2016/01/26 - Pours a hazy amber colour with a thin, fizzy, khaki head that reduces to a lingering surface film. Aroma is dried dark fruits (prunes, raisins, figs), yeasty dough, caramel, spices (clove, coriander?) and slight booze. Taste is moderately sweet, mildly bitter and slightly medicinal. Caramel, prunes, raisin, caramel, spice, peppery notes, dough, herbal hops and light booze. Mouthfeel is medium with biting carbonation and a peppery, drying, mildly warming finish. Not what I expected from something labeled as a Triple, but still very nice.

bottle at In De Wildeman’s - Pours hazy auburn colored with a lasting, light tan head. The flavor is quite sweet with caramel, Belgian yeast, and dark fruit. It’s yeasty with soft carbonation. Very good.
