Sep 10, 2007 Draught Gold-yellow, very good white head. Volatile smell of cornflakes, honey, sweetish grain, but very subtle, discreet. Maize, corn, but in the taste no sweetness. Rather a bit grassy, greenery, and drier finish. Light to medium bodied, lots of grist slickness. Decent Helles. I’m told it can be better at the fount of origin.

Aug 20, 2007 Draught at BBF07. Hoppy aroma. The flavour also has some aroma hoppiness. Medium to high bitterness. Uncomplicated, but OK Helles with extra hops, which is nice.

Oct 16, 2006 (live on tap at the Zunftstuben, Kamp-Lintfort) Light-hazy, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Slightly sweet malty, citrousy-yeasty aroma with a distinctive spicy, herbal hoppy note. Bitter flavour with an initial sweetish touch. Soft malty base with a rather strong but pleasant herbal hoppiness; dry and bitter, herbal hoppy finish. Quaffable with its own character (03.10.06).
