Very true to style. Pale yellow-orange color. Thin white head. Noble hops on the nose, fruity, spicey flavor up front. Hops and malt are well balanced.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a Kölsch, and I hope I can find it on the site. The very stylized calligraphy on the bottle makes it difficult to tell if the first letter is a Z or a J and the fourth letter may be an F or an S. Anywhat - Nice pour, a clear golden yellow body with a creamy white head. The aroma is light grasses over a softly sweet graininess, which pretty much describes the flavor as well. Light and refreshing, this would be dandy to drink in much warmer weather than what I’m experiencing now.

Decent drinkability and light German hops. Pours golden with OK head and lacing. Finishes with a touch of hops and some sweet malt. Easy drankin. Bottle I bought to drink with non craft beer enthusiasts.

(Zunft Kölsch) Bottle 500 ml at home, served into a kolsch glass, ABV 4.8% Golden yellow colour on the body, small frothy white head, with okay retention, light lacing on the glass. Sweet but refreshing aroma, fresh grass and a bit of lemon. Taste also has lemon notes, malts, straw. Thin body, average carbonation. Overall okay, good thirst quencher.

500 ml bottle. Pours a golden colour with large bubbles. Aroma of grains, some wet wort, dough and grass. Flavour of grainy malts, grass, harsh bready notes, some paper and mild bitterness. Light bodied and hard carbonation. BBE in two months, so this isn’t as fresh as it should be.

This is a damn decent Koelsch, I must say, very Pilsner-ish. It is golden in color w/ a small head of fine bubbles. It’s nose is all fresh, herbal hops with some doughy maltiness around the edges. This is a very light and drinkable beer. It’s light sweetness brings out some floral notes from the hops and maybe a touch of fruitiness from the yeast. I kind of wish the carbonation was just a little more crisp on this one but it is a really nice beer all around.

Bottle: The aroma consists of light honey, sweet grain, and a touch of grass/straw. It pours a transparent gold with a creamy here finger white head that has good retention before eventually fading to a thin film. There is a good amount of soap webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of light honey. The finish has light sweet grain and lighter grass. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Overall, it’s an okay lawnmower beer...nothing exciting...nothing offensive.

Draught at 18. Internationales Berliner Bierfestival. Pale yellow beer with a decent white head. Malty bready aroma, grassy hops, caramel, hay, some cereal notes. Malty bready flavor, plastic notes, a bit artificial.
