500 ml bottle. Pours a clear yellow with an average, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of fruit and malts. Sweet flavour of fruit, malts and hops leading to a dry finish. Medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

Keg Holborn Whippet London 27/05/14. A lager gold coloured beer with an off-white head. A bit of puke and a bit of hop. Hints of metal. A lager with flavour but not all of them good and actually there’s a bit of corn.

Bottle. Pours a very clear, straw pale yellow color, minimal white head. Sweet, grainy aroma, some faint notes of skunkage, no notable hop aroma. Crisp sweet malt character followed by mild hop bitterness. Fairly robust, almost wheaty flavor.

ThirstyBird (1485) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - APR 23, 2014
Pours a clear light yellow with a fairly small dense white head. The smell is light grain, grass and mild fruit. The taste is quite dry which balances with the light malt and fruit flavors. There is a hint of metallic flavor and a very crisp dry ending. Light in body with active carbonation that is a little prickly.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a moderate white head on it. Nose is grassy and corn-filled, and reminds me a lot of a more fragrant lager. Taste is light and crisp, and refreshing like a good lager can be. OK, but nothing remarkable overall.

Erzengel (2397) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 29, 2014
The beer starts mild and smooth, but less aroma than the Erzquell-Pils from the same brewery. The smoothness is the same, so the harsh and sharp bitter ending, which is a lot smoother here at the less aromatic Kölsch. Easy drinkable, slightly sweet. Not much aroma.
Typical Kölsch, but I don’t like the shark bitter ending. It tastes a bit cheap… --> 8/12/8/8

Slight grainy aroma and corn. Pale to gold color. Sips dry and effervescent. Subtle sweetness from malt and moderate bitterness to balance leaning towards a dry bitter finish. Leaves the tongue slightly numb and wanting a second sip. Very refreshing.
