COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zure Van Tildonk is an original Belgian Sour Ale from Farm-Brewery Hof Ten Dormaal. With this beer, the brewery strived to create a special, spontaneoussly-fermented beer via traditional methods using ambient yeast from the brewery-farm in Tildonk. Each batch of Zure van Tildonk is carefully aged in the cellars of Engelburch Monastery for several months prior to release.

Un nez très Cantillonesque allégé avec ses notes herbacés sauvages et ses petites céréales agonisantes. En bouche c’est très biscotti et délicat dans la sauvagerie, buvanilité monastique.

Helder goudkleurig, witte kraag die redelijk snel is verdwenen. Prima bier. Lekker stoffig en zacht zuur, met een beetje stro en fruit. Goede carbo.

Bottle 375ml. Pours blond with no serious head nor lacing. Aroma is of funk, citrus, sugar. Faro-like notes, alcohol, wood. Taste is of funk, barnyard, sugar, citrus, sourness. Palate: Light-medium body. Soft to medium carbonation. Overall: Good. Nice funk. Good balance. Interesting, guenine stuff.

Draft at Clinton hall. Pours a light brown light tan color. Very tart salt and sour taste. Vinegary. Not bad for the style

12.7oz bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy golden/amber with an off-white head. Aroma of light funkiness and tartness, some pale malts, light fruits and spices, and some hints of bitterness. Flavor pretty bland for a sour, nothing really stands out. Average texture. Could be way better.

On tap. Cider vinegar aroma with red cherries and white grape and strawberries. Murky swamp water appearance with no head. Slightly vinegary flavour with tons of white grape and some cherry, with tingly raspberry at the end. Medium light body, somewhat mouth puckering.
