Jun 8, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear dark cherry red with a small pinkish head. Fat aroma of cherry sauce. Medium body with a sweet - but authentic - cherry flavour. Almonds also. This really reminds me of cherry sauce and rice pudding for Christmas, but it’s never sticky or cloying. Has a light underlying acidity but a subdued bitterness. 050608

Jun 8, 2008 33 cL bottle, trade with kappldav123. Pours clear and golden deep red with a lacing white head. Solid almond cherry aroma. Flavour is sweet cherry with a somewhat watery almond note. Holds a sweet cherry finish. Solid fruit beer.

Feb 1, 2008 Bottle courtesy of kappldav123. Pours red with a fizzy white head. Smells of maraschino cherries. Tastes of pronounced cherries and syrup. If I didn;t know this was a beer, I’d swear it was a kir. Better than the apple beer at least.

Sep 15, 2006 Weak cherry aroma. Dark red/prune colour. No head. Sweet and nicely acidic cherry flavour.
