When poured into the glas it produces a white short lasting head. The clear light golden beer offers aromas of sweet malt, grain, hay, sligthly caramel, minerals and grassy hops. Light, than stronger bitterness, dry finish. Light body, visible average carbonation, more or less thin texture. Refreshing but nothing special.

Bitterer, etwas säuerlicher Antrunk. Mild herb, kein Hopfen. Dann leicht getreidig, die Bitterkeit steigt deutlich, an Alkoholfreies erinnernd. 8/6/5/5/7/5

Draft at the brewery in Uehlfeld. Clear and sparkling with a lasting large-bubbled white head, and a color that is slightly darker than you typically see for Pilsner. Aroma is difficult to get a sense of malt or hop, instead it’s more like mineral water with metal and granite and flint-like touches. Light bodied and highly effervescent with strong carbonic acid, it’s off-dry and mild in aroma and flavor, a very quiet malty Pilsner that doesn’t show much in the way of hop aroma or flavor, but has a lasting grip of hop bitterness in a clean finish. Simple, refreshing, near-flavorless Pilsner.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle. The beer starts bitter and dry. Not too deep. Slightly grainy-sweetish, slightly bitter. A bit mouldy. Nice.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Pale malty nose with notes of woody and slightly citric hops, accompanied by a whiff of barnyard. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Soft malty base with hoppy accents from the beginning with mainly herbal and woody notes; dry, hop bitter and slightly woody finish, with notes of barnyard. A likeable rural Pils from Franconia. 26.IV.12
