3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap sample. Poured black color with a moderate to large frothy light brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium to heavy toasted sweet chocolate malt with a small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy balanced toasted chocolate malt flavor with a medium to heavy spice sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid interesting beer.

Growler shared by b3shine- thanks again, Beau! Pours a deep brown color with a small khaki head. Aroma of roasted and toasted malts, chocolate, nuts, molasses, and dust - has a very dry-roasted kind of character to it. The same can be said for the flavor. Light-medium bodied, with a smooth, roasty mouthfeel and low-to-moderate carbonation. Simple imperial stout that has lent itself well to experimentation.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
1 liter fliptop growler, shared by b3shine. 7.5%, from what he says. Very dark brown red, near black color. Thin bubbly tan head, plenty dots of lace. Some roast, coffee in the nose. Big coffee in the flavor. Dark chocolate. Some good bitter earthy hop flair. Dark chocolate. Some good bitter earthy hop flavor. Nice bigger bitter taste, minimal sweet. Impressively assertive, big taste, especially for the 7.5%. Drinks like a slightly lighter bodied RIS. Medium to bigger body. Good chewy texture, though. Smooth, lighter carbonation, lightly dry finish. Very tasty, lighter bodied but full flavored imperial stout.

Draft to taster at ZwanzigZ. Looks good; black with foamy tan head that dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells solid; dark malt and chocolate. Tastes like it smells with a bit of roast. Solid on the palate. A little thin, but good nonetheless.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Black/brown body with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and bitter dark chocolate. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter, the bitterness lingering into the finish. Medium to full body, velvety texture, moderate carbonation. Bitter coffee/chocolate combination in taste. Good beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma of moderate roast, some licorice, coffee, bitter chocolate. Appearance is black with mocha head. Flavor matches the nose for the most part, but with some smoke. I was really impressed by the roast complexness of this brew. Palate is medium, oily and soft. A complex IS without the huge alcohol.

Tap. Chocolate and coffee malt aroma with light alcohol astringency. Black color with small head. Sweet chocolate coffee malt and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Nicely balanced - not over the top. A nice drinker.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Growler... pours Black, with a dark, rich tan head...roasted coffee aroma
Bitter coffee flavour, dark chocolate, malt...hints of Anise? slight smoke, pronounced bitter as it warms, very decent mouthfeel....wonder if there’s some chicory in there.....Very enjoyable....again a brand new brewery and not quite a mature aspect to it...but, enjoyed immensely...
