Marko (3612) - Split, CROATIA - FEB 21, 2009
0.5l bottle purchased somewhere in/near Graz, shared with heavy. Poured a brown/red body with a small white head. Typical dark malt nose, caramel, a bit dry. The taste is quite sweet and malty, milk caramel, woody (slightly ashy)... cleaner and dryer than most of these "doppelmalz dunkels", less sweet and more drinkable because of that, closer to refreshing than most of these ever get. No hop. Overall, ok.

Bottle, 3.4%. Weak caramelly bread aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour starts off a little sweet, there is a little dark bread. The finish is drier, and this is where the low ABV shines through a little. Quite decent, still. Especially considering the low ABV.

Quack-Duck (6811) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 18, 2008
bottle, Interspar Linz. Clear brown colour, large beige head. Malty nose. Sweet and malty with hints of caramel, roasetd malt and raisins. Slightly hoppy in the finish. A light and crisp Dunkel.

pivnizub (8000) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2008
Bottle: Chestnut-amber coloured, smaller, quickly diminishing off-white head; quite sweetish, caramelly nose with a touch like Coca-cola; solid sweet flavour, light bodied; sweet caramelly finish with a little bitterness in the aftertaste. So sweet, so boring......

asheft (2264) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 29, 2007
[tap(?) at a restaurant in Vienna] Fruity, sweet cherry aroma; a combination of gingerale and cherry lifesavers. Clear dark brown with nice, clingy beige foam. Sticky sweet as though the beer was seriously underattenuated and with a harsh bitterness. Revolting. Medium body, cloying sweetness, even a bit astringent.

Very dark red. Malt aroma. Full bodied and sweet. There is malt and ripe fruit. The sugar is not overpowering, this is a night change of pace.

ogivlado (4990) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 22, 2005
Bottled(500ml). –there is one major problem with this beer called sugar, cola coloured with small pale brown head, sweet roasted malty flavor, nutty and slightly caramel aroma, unpleasant sweet finish, not enough alcohol to neutralize sweetness

Jukkabro (3486) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 8, 2004
Looks like a coke without a head, high carbonation and same color. Aroma is chocolate and roasted, maybe it isn’t coke :) Flavor is very sweet and same time malty, haven’t had similar before. Creamy and full bodied, maybe some balancing hops can be found but sweetness lasts. Wierd "soda-like" beer, not very enjoyable.

Geiserich (2560) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JUL 29, 2004
Bottled:
Dark brown, off-white head. Malty, light sweet aroma. Flavor is malty sweet, grainy, and (for me) unpleasant sweet, with a unpleasant aftertaste, which reminds me on stones or dust.

Aldrighetti (163) - Coltura, ITALY - AUG 26, 2003
Light brown fizzy head, slowly disappears, dark brown beer. Nutty aroma, molasses, dark grain. Very light hop aroma. Sweet, light body, watery, unpleasent strong carbonation.
