COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Also available unfiltered around Easter and Christmas in 30l kegs as "Zwettler Zwickl Bock".

bottle from Merkur Wien-Hütteldorf. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty with hints of honey, some shy but good hops in the finish. Well rounded if slightly too mild.

50cl bottle at Krah Krah in Vienna. Pours a slightly hazy gold with some creamy white head. Nose of over ripe fruit, soggy white bread, a little wet trash, some booze. Flavor is overly sweet, candy, tropical fruit, a little rotting apple skin. Sticky finish. All over the place.

Bottle. Medium clear golden, average white head, no lace. Aroma is sweet and grainy, maybe a little toasty. Sweet popcorn grainy flavour, lightly metallic note in the mildly bitter finish. Not harsh (kind of a back-handed compliment there), but really simple and not my favourite flavour profile to begin with. Just okay for me.

330ml green bottle. Yellow colour, white foamy head. Lots of sweet grain aromas, some grass. Grains and grass are also featured strongly in the taste - grain sweetness, bready, contrasting grassy bitterness. Aftertaste is slightly metallic and grassy, alcohol comes out. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Somewhat enjoyable.

Bottle. Light crisp gold with thin white head. Moderate malt liquor aroma. Grain and alcohol. Flavour has some light sweetness, strong grain and much less alcohol than expected.

Not a bad Heller at all. Pours out a bright, pale yellow with no head but bubbly carbonation. The head regenerates quickly but dies instantly after forming a thin layer of white foam. The nose is yeast and estery with light grains and a hint of grassy hop. The flavor is light and grainy with slick mouthfeel and a bitter finish. Well balanced and crisp. Overall, bland but a good bock.

330ml bottle pours a bright golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some thin lacing. Aroma is cereal grains and grassy hops. Taste is grainy malt sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with some decent carbonation. Below average beer for the style. Did not really enjoy this one too much.

Bottled. The aroma has grain, bit flowery hops. Clear, golden coloured beer with a medium, white head. The taste is sweet, has grain, some flowers, hint of honey.
