The spicy, mild beer taste with subtle hop flavor. The gentle mashing process supports the mild character of this beer.

*Old rating, best before 07.10. Neutral-süßlich-goldenes Bier. Nicht zu tief, recht süffig-süßlich, keine Herbe.

It’s fairly dark golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, light fruit and caramel. The flavor has a light sweetness and pretty much the same notes as the aroma, and the finish is slightly dry. It’s very mild, but I guess that was what it was supposed to be.

Ganz ok.

Deep clear light amber colour with steady head and medium body. Nose of hops. Taste of mild hops, fresh grains, grass, roses and coriander green. Very easy and nice to drink with moderate malt part. Good and solid Zwiefalter but just nothing that special.

Pours gold with a white head. Spicy and piney hoppy aroma with a clean pale base. The flavor has spicy hops, grass, earthy notes, and a hint of pine.

White bottle. Golden color. Flowery buttery maltaroma. Malty flowery flavor with hints of apple, peach and cardboard. Hint of butter in the finish.

bottle from Schlecker-Getränkemarkt Ehingen/Donau. Clear golden colour, large white head. Malty nose. Malty, slightly fruity (lemon) with rather shy hoppy notes. A rather mild beer, but not at all boring. A beer that is sold in stylish modern bottles following the German Goldbier trend. I expected this to be a flavourless brew, which it didn’t turn out to be. Good one!

Bottle. The sweet aroma of fresh bread and Hops. Malt and some Port are also there. The head is rather small, white and fizzy, fast disappearing. The body is dark yellow-orange, like copper. A taste that is biter and sweet at the same time. The body is light to medium, dry and with normal carbonation.

I found this to be an above-average lawnmower beer, best judged on those terms. Pours dark gold with thin head. Nose has corn, lime and fresh grass. The lack of sweetness combined with mild, grassy bitterness and lemon-lime notes made for high refreshment value. I don’t understand the clear bottle, though.
