Bottle from kappldav123, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Malt, caramel and chocolate in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweet flavor with hints of roast, caramel, chocolate cake and cinnamon. Powerful, yet very drinkable and a great balance.

The bottle looks very good, the beer in the glass also. Quite dark, fine foam. Tastes malty and strong, not too alcoholic. Very fine and intense finish. Very drinkable. Another great beer from this small brewery!

50 cL bottle. Pours deep amber, clear and golden with a small and tan head. Roasted breadish and malt aroma. Light caramel to chocolate note. Mild roasted flavoured, breadish and light liqourice touch. Nice level of hops coming through. Smooth, roasted and mild spiced finish. Great brew.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly - fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light sugar, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft. [20090403]

Test vom 6.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,11,12,13,11,12

Bottle, 6.5%. Clear dark brown colour. The flavour is slightly sweet, quite malty. Dark malts, some pepper, only slightly sweet. Well-balanced. Tastes of more than its 6.5%.

bottle, bought at the brewery. Dark brwon, nearly black colour, small and quickly diminishing foamy head. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt. Flavours of chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of caramel and coffee. Medium-bodied, slightly thin in the finish but with a very pleasant and lingering aftertaste.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear orangey brown with a dense, beige head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt and pumpernickel. Full-bodied with a fairly solid roasted malt base and some dried fruit. Some hops to be detected in the finish. 030409

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, dark brown colour with a mid-sized off-white foamy head. Sweet, roast-malty nose with caramel, liquorice and light herbal hoppy notes. Sweet and slightly sugary flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Bottle@Home. Light malty aroma with toffee and herbal notes. Dark brown color, beige diminishing head, few lace. Malty, sweet, toffee, light herbal, light bitter. Little sticky mouthfeel and a bit warming feeling. Flavorful and high drinkability.
