Bottle. Gotta say, I've never before seen a name with so many letters from the end of the alphabet in a row. Pours clear and yellow with a rapidly diminishing head. Aroma is malty, soapy and slightly skunky. Flavor is initially biting hoppiness giving way to malt sweetness and a dry finish. Light body and assertive carbonation. Not bad as far as Mega-brewer lagers go and definitely the best Polish beer I've had to date (the only one in fact, but we'll let that slide).

Had this in Poland becasue i was stuck there wating for a flight home. Ok beer for the price in zloty. No real flavor and lots of carbonation. It does have a certain kick to it in the end. Ok if you are stuck in Poland but there are better things to do there.

Clear gold colour with poor head retention. Not much aroma, but slightly malty. Highly carbonated, making it appear quite bitter (a bit more malt comes through when it goes flatter.) Only slightly malty, with no hop flavour but a very strong, late developing bitterness with a strong soapy quality. Thin body. Has elements of a good beer, but is missing a lot of malt in the middle and needs more hop character and less bitterness.

Gold coloured. Heavy carbonization. Thick white lasting foamy head and light lacing. Aroma is a light combination of yeast and hops. Nice body and lightly foamy mouth feel. Just enough hops to taste. Tastes like a light pilsener with a vegatable edge. Maybe a little too thick for a lawnmower beer.

Sweet yeasty aroma. Finding a lager with a non-skunky aroma is always nice. Pours golden yellow, thin white head that quickly dissipates. Nice mouthfeel for a lager. Flavour predominately of corn, followed by an alcohol aftertaste. Pound it back with the cabbage rolls and perogies.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: DEC 10, 2004 Heard this was good. It wasn’t. The usual stale hops flavor of a low quality beer. Has that texture of an apple. Fluffy and slightly sweet. Was a bit more palatable than some other low-grade European Lagers, but nothing special. It did have a medium body and wasnt as prone to thinning out, but still the flavor was not good. Huge white head, bubbly yellow color. Little aroma. Slight hops and sweetness.

Probably one of the best lagers i've ever tasted. Nice grainy aroma, with a good balance in hops and grains. Refreshing soft taste, indeed not much bitterness but that's why it tastes so good!

UPDATED: APR 7, 2004 Bottled. Golden color. This is the best selling(or rather most hyped) beer in Poland they say. No wonder it has an aroma and a flavor of Standard Lager with no bitterness.

Very underrated in my opinion on this site. Actually imho it's one of the best pilseners around. Not as hoppy as most others, but smooth and very easy to drink.
