Decent yellow/gold color with a slight pure white head. Fairly smooth with just a touch of hops. Not bad.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
floral hop nose with hints of sweet maltiness.
Typical golden lager colour with nice big head and lacework, with medium carbonation.
hop bitterness dominates the flavour profile, with floral hop and light maltiness with a bit of spice accompanying the alcohol that just cuts through the bitterness.
the palate is dominated by a dry bitterness, ontop of a thin lager body.
Not a bad example of the style, but the market's pretty well covered in segment.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale golden straw color with nice soft head. Slightly herbal aroma, smells like other Euro-giant lagers. Herbal flavor as well, with bread and sweet cardboard. Taste is pleasantly inconsistent with the slightly Heineken aroma. Finish is instant upon swallowing. A pretty good beer with evanescent malt finish and brief bitterness.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Golden colour with a frothy white, mostly diminishing head. Grassy and slightly spicy aroma. Sweetish corn and honey initial flavour finishing dry and very slightly bitter. Prickly and somewhat sticky mouthfeel.

Poland's best selling beer. ?? Why?? It has nothing special to offer. It's like all other pale-yellow lagers.

I certainly wasn't expecting the wallop of corn I got when I sipped this one. Sweet like honey, and grainy - body would've actually been too thin if not for the grain texture. I remember liking their porter though.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2004 Simple, clean, and refreshing... nothing exciting, but not too shabby. Can't really get to descriptive about these pilsner/light type beers... all pretty simular. Slight hop bite.
