1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Actually one of best polish eurolagers, doesn’t mean it’s any good of course. If drunk frozen cold it’s pretty drinkable.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Appearance: pale clear gold, one finger of bright white fizzy head, no lacing. Aroma: light grass, some lemon and cereal grains. Taste: grainy, with a bit of corn, grass, lemon, and floral honey, along with wet cardboard. Finish: crisp and short, barring a bit of metallic astringency . Notes: Pretty standard fare, but I could imagine this would hit the spot in Warsaw with a plate of kielbasa and pirogi. Tallboy can from the Kielbasa Factory in Rockville, Maryland.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Apparently on average, 18 degrees C is the tipping point temperature; above it we prefer cold drinks and below it we prefer warm. Well, it’s 24 degrees in sunny Coventry and I’ve just walked half an hour to get to a gig, so something cold and wet was required. This fulfilled the brief. Not much more to say about it - tastes of grain, keeps its head well, not unpleasant.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
F: white average quick diminishing to nothing.
C: clear gold.
A: weak malt and floral hops.
T: malt, a little metallic, a hint of bitterness, corn, thin body, watery, average carbonated, toward below average pale lager, can be tasty when it is hot and this beer is pretty cold and we haven’t another kind of beer to drink.
