Goldene Farbe, weiße Schaumkrone, die durchschnittlich lang bestehen bleibt. Gräser- und Hopfenaromen. Leicht bitterer Geschmack. Durschnittliches Macrolager.

As pale as you would expect from Eurolager with a persistent covering of white head. Sweetish corn-like aroma (without the suggestion of DMS) and a fluffy, sweet body. Pleasant enough for a session.

Flaske delt med esp0r. Lys gylden, klar med lite skum.moderat karnonert. Smaker lys malt, gress og hint av krydder. Ingen dum drikkbar lager

Lekkie piwo, o delikatnym smaku. Niezbyt gorzkie.

Medium amber with a small white head that doesn’t last. Light malt and grain. Light sweet toffee and only minimal bitterness. Light thin mouth with soft carbonation. Crisp finish. Just a pale lager, better than some.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 500ml bottle poured in a chalice. A Heineken after all. A: Clear golden-yellow color. Small white head that dissipates leaving few lacings S: Simple. Malt, hops and yeasts T: Simple too. Malt is very evident, nice moderated bitterness and the very traditional Heineken yeasts. Interesting how Heineken is able to be really Heineken everywhere... :) M: Very light and watery body. Reasonable carbonation. Good bitterness is the really and only positive point D: Not bad [ BA Review @ 7/23/2010 ]

On tap at a cafe in Zgorzelec, Poland. A light, fresh beer that tastes a lot more like a german Pilsner than the way RateBeer classifies this as a "Pale Lager". Maybe getting it fresh, close to the source made it better, but I thought this beer was much better than the reviews give credit for. Light body, but a moderate hop presence, crisp mouthfeel. Little sweetness, and lightly bitter. Very refreshing, easy to drink but with some depth, and without any objectionable qualities. I think I even prefer it to the Landskron pilsner that you can get on the German side of the river! I also thought the alcohol was well masked...I can’t taste that this beer is at 5.6%, many beers that are this light and have this much alcohol have a sort of boozy quality that I dislike, and others are too heavy. Yet another thing I like about this one!

Can from The Ship Heworth. Pours dark yellow, medium head. Grassy, slight bitterness. Okay. Reasonably satisfying Polish lager
