2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Golden color with some instantly dissipating foam. Medium-bodied, caramel, hay and cereal whiff. On top of that, very thin on the palate. Mediocre.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear gold, mediocre lager. Little in the way of aromas or flavors--slight maltiness, hints of caramel, bit of straw. Minimal hoppiness. Pretty awful, similar to some of the cheapest American lagers.

2.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
While I can vouch for Zywiec Baltic porter as an exemplar beer, this Zywiec premium lager is sadly nothing very interesting. Looks average with decent head and pale yellow appearance, aroma is grainy, maybe some lemon. Taste is clean, pale malt with lemony notes, a little on the bland side but at least comes across as fresh despite being imported from another hemisphere. Not really any hoppy taste to balance the malty grainy flavors, maybe some hoppy bitterness in the finish. At least not overly sweet like some other pale lagers. Overall summary: fresh, clean, uninteresting. Maybe the Polish equivalent of Budweiser.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Clear golden color, big white head that quickly disappeared. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Aroma of corn, bread, hint of hops. Medium sweet taste with slightly bitter finish.Yet another boring lager.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear golden. Small soapy white head, partly lasting with some drippy lace. Aroma finds corn, light grain, honey. Not unpleasant, but almost. Light and smooth. Good mouthfeel. Mild dryness and mild earthy bitter amidst honey, grain, maybe a little butter. Flavor slightly more pleasant I suppose. Better than a macro.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
It sort of smells like a malt liquor, a cheap beer. What is that, straw? dirty lemon? Tastes just like some beer I’d have at a bar on water st. in Milwaukee late on a Saturday night. Nothing super tasty, but just goes down easily. Very light, not much taste, a slight dry/bitter finish.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear yellow appearance with weak head. Malty aroma with some hops, quite sweet, not overly impressive.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
11.2 oz. bottle from Wilbur’s. Appearance: finger or less of white head that does not last but for a second, clear, light golden yellow. Aroma: molasses, earthy basement, light floral, leaves. Palate: light to heavy light body, average carbonation, dry finish, thin texture, astringent finish. Taste: light sweet, to mostly watery and light sweet, light astringent bitter finish. Overall, drinkable in gallons, still miles above big beers in America, but still not something I want to seek out in the US.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle, pours golden with a white head, typical pale lager in that it doesn’t really have much of a taste. Skip it and try something else.
