Mostly gold pour with just a touch of red, not enough to make it coppery though. Head looks like sponge toffee but white, and is fading very slow with lots of lacing. Very week scent, just a touch of fresh cut grass. Very easy to drink. Very dry clean taste at first and then there’s a rush of weedy grassiness in the finish. I would enjoy this more if it wasn’t for that finish, though without it the beer really wouldn’t have any character at all. Not a favourite but not horrible.

This time I can’t even write "another tasteless lager". This one has it’s taste. It’s awful. It’s sweet, unpleasantly sweet. Sparkling, bright yellow sweet water. Disaster.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur jaune d’une pâleur maladive translucide, mousse blanche aérée. Arôme de maïs, malt, végétal, alcool. Goût de maïs, sucré, végétaux. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen. Eurk.

Poland’s best known standard lager, golden coloured with a dense, stable head; malt sweet aroma but in a rather ’pure’ way, some hops, some solvents. Dryish taste, neutral, grassy hops in the finish but in a subdued way as well as something chemical.

Small bottle from Tipsy’s. Gold and clear appearance with a small, dissipating white head. Aroma and flavor of pale malts, light bitter hops, grass, and light corn and rice. Light bodied with a crisp feel and a smooth finish. Pretty easy to chug.

Transfer from BA review on 4-1-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a golden- light amber color with a two finger white head. The head fades relatively quickly leaving a lighter level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is relatively light overall and consists mainly of some bready malt smells as well as some corn syrup and a caramel sweet smell. Taste – The taste begins heaviest of a corn sweetness and nice grainy malt taste. The grain has a large cereal nature with cracked wheat and a corn malt flavor. As the flavor advances some of the sweet corn dries out with a light amount of caramel flavor taking it’s place. In the end the flavors that linger on the tongue produce a rather crisp and clean taste on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is average as well. Both are nice for maintaining a decent balance between the easy drinking nature of the brew as well as for keeping the grainier and malty taste of the brew from being lost. Overall – Not a bad brew, but nothing too exceptional. It is rather easy drinking and refreshing but lacks much complexity and is fairly simple overall.

330 ml bottle into lager glass, best before 10/22/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear golden straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, pear, cracker, bready grain, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Okay aromas with well balanced pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester notes; with weak strength. Taste of lemon, pear, cracker, biscuit, bready grain, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, cracker, biscuit, bready grain, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very solid pale lager. Good balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasant and enjoyable offering.
