mustangjoe (168), redondo beach, California, USA Jul 22, 2007 Clear golden color pour with a decent head. Grassy, grainy aroma and flavor. Nothing really stands out with this one. Pretty standard lager overall.
blipp (675), Grand Island, New York, USA Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Clean malt aroma, lightly sweet with a touch of hops. Sweet malt flavor with trace hops. Not bad. Gr0ve (1088), Oslo, Norway Aug 15, 2008 500 ml bottle. Zywiec Oryginalny, 5.6% abv. Golden. Crystal clear. Small white coarse head. High carbonation level. Rounded hop aroma with a slightly cloying malty aroma. Surprisingly thick body. Quite malty with some sugary flavours. The hop bitterness stands up against most of it. Overall a maltier, but simple, pilsener. Not too bad. mullet2007 (115), Newfoundland, Canada Aug 14, 2008 Pours a clear yellow colour with a thick fluffy white head. Aroma is pretty bland, not a whole lot there to speak of, save maybe the slightest hint of hops. Flavour is also very simple, a bit of toasty malts, and not too much hops. It is fairly crisp, carbonation isn’t too high, but it is a touch watery, but for the style that’s not really a big deal. patricks110 (142), Alberta, Canada Aug 10, 2008 had in bottle from Bottlescrew Bills. Can also get at Superstore liquor in Calgary. A good rich lager. Aroma of grassy hops and sweet floral notes. Palate is watery and mildly carbonated. Taste is plain, and grassy. Overall,. a very good Polish beer that is far better than the other Polish beer i’ve had- LECH. DavidP (1709), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Aug 10, 2008 A good Polish lager at least when the bottle is relatively fresh. Actually has some hop character in the aroma & flavor unlike other crap Polish beers.6
