Bottle. Mellow gold color thin white head. Alot of carb. Aroma of barley and some hops. Thicker to the palate than expected. Has a nice strong taste for a lager with a malty finish. Not bad for a lager

330 ml bottle into lager glass, best before 10/22/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear golden straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, pear, cracker, bready grain, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Okay aromas with well balanced pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester notes; with weak strength. Taste of lemon, pear, cracker, biscuit, bready grain, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, cracker, biscuit, bready grain, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very solid pale lager. Good balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasant and enjoyable offering.

Flasche 50cl. Goldgelb, blank, schöner weißer Schaum. Leichtes Mundgefühl, trockener Abgang. Malzigkeit erinnert an Tschechische Vorbilder. Solide gemachtes Lager, süffig.

Drink cold (8°) Eye: golden to copper colour. Nose: citrus fruits, grain, and granny smith apple, slightly acidy. Mouth: malty, hoppy as well, grains. Palate: quick, dull finish, can’t really describe Overall: you have to drink this once in Krakow when you’re there. you could always get a german lager or Weissbeer instead.

From a large bottle. Crisp pale lager with tasty rice flavor and no funky malty or metallic tastes. A very solid quaffable pale lager. One of the best I’ve had actually.

McWorta (575) - LUXEMBOURG - AUG 5, 2014
Dark yellow coloured with a fast fading white head. Noses mainly of sweet breaded malt and a light whiff of hops. The taste is sweet with a chewy bread texture, medium bodied. The finish is sweet.

Pyobon (911) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 2, 2014
(Bottle) Clear amber, no head. Little aroma, mainly cardboard. Light bodied and quite coarse fizziness. Really quite a nasty taste, some sugar sweetness at the start, maybe some grainy malt that all ebbs away to be replaced in the finish by some rather dull, not very pleasant bitter notes. A bad beer.

Can 50cl. @ local supermarket. Clear pale golden color, one finger frothy white head, disappears after a while, light lacing; malty nose, grass, grain; taste medium sweet, light bitter, hint of citrus; medium body, oily texture; more bitterness in aftertaste.
