Black, thick tan creamy head. Soft coffee and toasted vanilla nose that lie upon a bed of milk chocolate and cedar shavings. Flavor held more soft coffee and chocolate notes that mingle with a vinous nutty earthiness. Medium bodied and smooth, light carbonation, dry, bittersweet finish. Nicely done...

This beer has nice notes of caramel and molasses. It not only has those notes on the aroma but the palate and finish. It has a decent weight to the mouthfeel and drinks very well.

Bottle at LCRBM2. The most bitter porter i’ve had. Lots of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Very nice!

medium ruby color with a small tan head, light color by porter standards, malthy roasty flavor. Stale cardboard flavor with some roasted malt undertones. Thin moth feel for teh style. Perhaps a imporoperly stored bottle that may have been heat/cool cycled?

Thanks to Goldtwins for the bottle. Alcohol and mollasses aroma. Looks like a stout. Full and creamy palate. Definite chocolate and roasted malt flavors up front with a sort of lager-like quality to it.

Pours very black with large brown head. Roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Taste is dark unsweetened chocolate, toffee and dates. Thick mouthfeel with malty finish and dry aftertaste. Alcohol is barely present but just paert of the aftertaste.

Pours very deep red--almost black--with a large tan head. Excellent molasses, caramel, and nut aroma, with a touch of herbal hoppiness that blends perfectly. There’s some spice in there, as well; I almost want to say nutmeg. Classic porter flavor--chocolate, caramel, molasses--with a little alcohol bite at the end to remind you that this is Baltic. None of the flavors are overdone, and it’s not overly roasty. Damn fine beer.
