Bottle fron a local shop in Krakow, enjoyed at home. Pours black with a medium dirty white head. Smells sweet with some hints of chocolate and coffee. Tastes of coffee, chocolate, liqorice and alcohol. An ok beer.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2014 Quite dark; little head that is light tan. Aroma has toffee and coffee like notes. When tasting you first notice the sweetness, probably due to the 9% alcohol. Then I notice coffee flavors with just a hint of licorice. A little candied sugar. Good long finish. Just a tad thin though. Bottom line: a very good beer. Unfortunately seems to be getting harder to find in the USA. 8/08/2014: also a bit of raisins and chocolate; a slight oily texture.

Pours black, with brown/red reflexes. Nice big tan head. In aroma mostly raisins and plums. In taste roast malts, some dark chocolate. Dry, full body, medium bitterness. Iron is noticeable. Lively carbonation, maybe to much.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2014 Bottle at home. Pours opaque black with ruby accents. Awesome, lasting beige head. Dark chocolate and roasty notes paired with dried fruits. Some nuts and hoppy notes, from the smell all alone I can tell itís bitter for a BP. Good roastiness. Full flavour packed with bitter chocolate, coffee and roastiness coming out right before hoppy goodness. Medium carbonation, full body, sticky mouthfeel. Good stuff.

From bottle. Dark. No lasting head. Nose of mild raisin. Rich mouthfeel. Very well balanced between the Baltic raisin and plum notes with roasted malt. Not too sweet, not too bitter.

Bottle. Dark cola colored with a thick cascading tan head. Aroma is awesome. Chocolate to start, followed by dark fruit, toasted marshmallow and roast. Taste is mostly figs and a deep roasty flavor. Very tasty but has a nasty fusel note that pokes its head out every once in a while that's very unpleasant. Thin body for the style but it's adequate. Pleasant surprise.

A mild sweet raisin and dried fruit aroma with mild roast malt. Dark brown, almost black, thin white head. Sweet raisin very balanced with malt bitterness taste and some charcoal. Palate is filling and fizzy. Overall, wow! This was a very good Baltic porter!

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2014 Almost black, clear with ruby highlights. Powerfull aroma of rasins, roasted malts, dark chocolate. Full body. Alcohol and metalic taste detectable. Worth noticing are great price and avaliability.

If you prefer cheaper but still quite stylish Baltic Porter, itís something what you need. Availability is great, but sometimes you can find worse barge where alcohol is unfortunely perceptible. However in this ABV is not really big disadvantage.

Pours clear, black with medium, short head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, dark fruits, some coffee. Small sour note from the roastiness in the taste, nice bitterness, long chocolate aftertaste. Alcohol heats up the throat nicely, but when warmed it becomes too visible in the taste. Overall, really good porter, one of the best in Poland
