Black color. The aroma plays with caramel and roasted malt, the flavor with roasted malt and chocolate, oxidised; medium to strong body. Strong chocolate and roasted malt at the end. Light liquorice; alcohol warmth.

Dark color. Interesting aroma: caramel, nuts, roasted malt. And the taste goes along.... Thanks Jens (Ungstrup) for this bottle!

Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. Dark brown, filtered porter with a tan head. Sweet and roasted nose with alcohol, chocolate, coffee and some licorice. Nice. The flavor and finish has too much alcohol, but after all it weighs in at 9.5%, so it is expected. The flavor is roasted and with coffee as well. Full body and a coffee-bitter finish. (060826)

33cl bottle, Albert, Warsaw. Very dark ruby colour. Good choc/coffee aroma with some freshness too. Velvety in the mouth with no dead feel. Malt has some sweetness, but there is a bit of dryness on the end to balance it. Very pleasant porter.

Bottle, 9.5%. Sweet and roasted aroma. Black colour. Big stable light brown head. The flavour is quite sweet, has a hint of metal. Roasted liquorice notes and a burning/warming alcohol finish. Why so much alcohol?

Bottled (BB 10/2004)
Very dark ruby, almost opaque. Good creamy expresso head. Aroma has licorice, dark choclate, molasses, wood. Full-bodied, smooth and sweetish palate: licorice, roasted coffee beans. Warming a bit alcoholic long finish, which brings some bitterish tones. Polish masterpiece!

Black, with a malty, vinuous nose. It is very dry, roasty and hoppy, with a big alcohol kick, some very burnt raisin flavours. The body is full and firm, and the finish is long and assertively dry.
