500ml bottle. Black toffee color. Moderate, lacy head. Mellow dark malty aroma. Big and rich, but not as rounded as an Imperial Stout or Barleywine. Sugary sweet not unlike a Dunkel. A lot of alcohol warming, but it still remains completely drinkable. A great example of the style. Lots of chocolate roastiness. Bonus points for only being two dollars a bottle.

Sep 3, 2008 Now here we have a remarkable beer. Abundance of character. all of the clasic baltic porter hallmarks coupled with individualistics such as roastiness, darker grains and perhaps a special yeastoid. Poured with a tan head, lots of lace and pitch black color. Opaque. perfect balance between bitter and sweet, with enough body to compliment the works. Bravo. almost robust enough to be too much of a beer for the session lablel. tough it out bro.

Sep 1, 2008 Thin brown head with a deep black body. Lots of chocolate/caramel malts in here. My only complaint is the heavy aroma of alcohol that overpowers some of the malt flavors.

Aug 28, 2008 500ml bottle from premier gourmet. pours black with a lovely tan head. i couldnt ask for a better looking porter. aromas are thin. dark fruit and some coffee. flavours are similar with a bitter/tart/tin finish. not very enjoyable but not quite a drain pour. ill try again if it becomes availible locally other then that no way!

Aug 24, 2008 What a pleasant suprise. I went into a small store in Krakow to but all of the different brands of Polish beer I could find to rate. This was the standout although I fell in love with most of the Polish brands. This is just so roasty and rich. One of the best Porters I have ever had.
