Bomber from Wilbur’s. Appearance: 2 fingers tan to light red head, brown color, clear to opaque, good lacing. Aroma: roast on exhale, nutty, stone fruitiness, light molasses. Palate: full body, average to soft carbonation, bitter finish, alcohol warming. Taste: sweet molasses and caramel with nuttiness coming through, going into light fruitiness, with assertive bitterness coming through with decent alcoholic warming. Overall, very nice, very true to style, very good.

Pungent smell and a fairly average appearance give way to an interesting smoky flavor with a bit of a spicy bite. Alcohol is present but not too overpowering.

Black with fluffy tan head. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, almost a rum note. Taste is strong, dark malts, chocolate, a bit fruity, a bit hot and rummy on the finish. Moderate mouthfeel, pretty lively carbonation. A good interesting porter.

Bottle.Pours a thick Black colour with very thin head. Aroma. Currants, chocolate, alcohol, Aroma dominated mainly by currants. Taste. Very deep and intense flavours as can be expected by a beer of this abv, mainly i can taste rich currants with a nice dark licorice edge, with a weaker taste of coffee and dark rich fruits in general. Overall. This beers richness and complexity encourages me to only drink 1 or maybe 2 in a session, given the higher abv i think that is very appropriate.

Aroma: dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, even some fruitiness raisins, but alcohol too. Opaque black colour and weak tan head, quickly disappears. The taste was strong, leaves some bitterness and coffee aftertaste.

Klasyka baltic porter.
