Pours hazy very dark brown with beige head. Aroma is mostly hoppy; tropical and citrus fruit, pine, then roasted aromas. Bitterness is medium and body quite low. Nicely drinkable, but too watery.

Bottle, 4.5%. Grassy hoppy and roasted aroma, has a little jam. Black colour. Big stable brown head. The flavour is quite roasted with a pronounced and clean bitterness. Some raw liquorice bitterness. OK hoppiness, but the focus is on the "dark" side of the beer.

Very dark, frothy, light tan head. Aroma of pine, light chocolate. Taste the same, long, dry bitter finish, but a little watery.

Bottle. Pours cloudy black with airy but stable dark grey head. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with citric touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with touches of roast and mild citrus nites. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Very low carbonation. Looks and tastes like something between a Stout and a Black IPA. Not bad but hard to define.

Barwa: ciemna, praktycznie czarna, niewielkie refleksy widoczne pod światło. Piana obfita grubo pęcherzykowa, nietrwała, wysycenie niskie. Aromat: dominują aromaty czekoladowe i lekko palone. Chmiel prawie niewyczuwalny. Zapowiadanych aromatów typowych dla stylu, pochodzących z chmielu amerykańskiego brak. Smak: wyraźne akcenty słodów czekoladowych i kawowych. Wyczuwalna goryczka.

Bottle. Pours very dark brown with small white head. Nice lace. Aroma of resin, pine, grapefruit with chocolate and coffee. Nice, medium-high bitterness with some roastiness. Low carbonation. Good beer.

Bottle. Finally, a really good beer from this brewery! Coffee, chocolate candies, roast and resin in the aroma. The hoppiness fades with time ,so that it tastes more or less like a very good dry stout with an underlined bitterness and a hoppy note mingled with some yeast in the finish. Not true to style? So what? If it tastes good, then it tastes good.
