Commenced brewing in Summer 1996, Abbeydale is most famous for its flagship pale ale, Moonshine, which has account for approximately half of all beer brewed since 1996. All of this Moonshine was in cask until April 2020, when it made it's first appearance in cans. Still predominantly cask led, Abbeydale have made great strides and now package beers in cask, keg and cans. The Brewers Emporium range of beers, led by Heathen (American Pale), Heresy (lager) and Voyager (IPA) are all available in keg and can, with some cask availability too. Alongside these, the mixed fermentation and barrel ageing programme that has been ongoing since 2017 sees beers released under the 'Funk Dungeon' banner.
