Starting off as Big Aloha Brewery as part of Sam Choy's, the brewery split off in 2011 as Aloha Beer Company, under same ownership. With the 580 N. Nimitz Highway location being closed in mid 2013, beers were contract brewed until production was recommenced with new recipes at the Kaka'Ako location in 2017.
