Black Dog

The original Black Dog brewery ceased production in 2000. The three regular beers - Rhatas, Schooner and Whitby Abbey - were then brewed at Hambleton until 2006, when the brewery was resurrected by new owners at a new location in Whitby, reportedly with the intention of reinstalling the brewing equipment there.. Whether this took place is unclear but the brewing equipmentery was subsequently sold off and beers are currently produced at Hambleton.
