Samlesbury (AB InBev UK)

Commercial Brewery

Samlesbury Brewery was built by Whitbread in 1972 and came into the ownership of Interbrew (as it then was) following Whitbread’s decision to sell its breweries and brewing interests in 2000. Brands brewed at Samlesbury include Budweiser, Stella Artois, Brahma, Bass and Boddingtons, which are packaged into kegs, cans and bottles. However, it is difficult to establish which beers are brewed where as AB InBev doesn’t seem to consider it important to provide consumers with full information on all their brands, or their provenance.
