Wellpark (C&C Group)

Founded in the 18th century by H & R Tennent, although there had been brewing on the site since the 16th century. In 1962, Tennents was acqunted by Charringtons, which became Bass Charrington on merging with Bass in 1967. Came under the ownership of Interbrew (now AB-InBev) in 2000. The brewery and the Tennents brands were acquired by C&C Group in 2009.
