Shires

Commenced brewing in 1994 at the Davenport Aems in Worfield. In 1999 Worfield took over Red Cross Brewery in Bromsgrove, which had commenced brewing in 1993. Production was subsequently relocated to the Bromsgrove site. Some Red Cross beers continued to be brewed but badged as Worfield. Moved again to Bridgnorth in 2000. In 2003 acquired the historic All Nations brewpub in Madeley, which had been brewing since 1789 but had ceased in 2001. All prduction was then moved to Madeley although beers were marketed using both the Worfield and All Nations names. Name changed to Shires in 2009. All beers now badged as Shires.
