As many as 200 craft beers from more 30 Michigan micro-breweries and brewpubs will be available for sampling at the 2010 Michigan Winter Beer Festival, sponsored by the Michigan Brewers Guild. The fifth annual event runs from Noon to 5pm on Saturday, February 28, at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park, just north of downtown Grand Rapids. Enthusiasts members are admitted at 11am. Tickets for the Michigan Winter Beer festival – which include admission and 12 tasting tokens – are $35 each in advance and are available online at www.michiganbrewersguild.org, at the Fifth Third Ballpark box office and at participating Guild member breweries and select retail outlets. The event is expected to sell out, as it did last year. If any tickets remain, they will be available at the gate the day of, for $40 each.
