Flying Saucer on the Lakeís First Annual Spring Beer Festival
Flying Saucer on the Lake hosts its first annual Spring Beer Festival, Saturday, June 5 from noon to 10 p.m.
Flying Saucer on the Lakeís Spring Beer Festival features 5 beer tasting tents each with 4 brews. Featured beers include rare special releases and cask-conditioned ales, including Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron and Brooklyn Summer Ale in the East Coast tent; Widmer Brothersí Reserve Prickly Pear Braggot and Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere Harvest Ale in the West Coast tent; Real Ale Highlander, Saint Arnold Fancy Lawnmower and 512 Wit in the Texas tent; Boulevard Tank 7 Saison, Avery Samaelís Ale and Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale in the Captainís Picks tent; and La Chouffe, Ommegang Witte and BrewDog Dogma in the Out of this World tent.
The event has no cover charge, but for $15, event-goers will receive a commemorative taster glass and card describing the featured brews, that can be redeemed for a sampling of 10 of the featured beers from the East Coast, West Coast, Texas and Captainís Picks tents. For an additional $5, attendees can sample from the Out of this World tent. Attendees also can use four punches for a full-sized pour of their choice. Beer brats, kraut and Bavarian pretzels will also be available for purchase.Cost:
