1. "Classic" Oktoberfest (amber version)

2. German light lagers (includes pils, Helles, Dortmunder/"modern" Oktoberfests)

3. German ales (Kolsch, altbiers, weizens)

4. Bocks and dark lagers (all the bocks: maibock, traditional bock, doppelbock, eisbock; plus dunkel and swarzbier).

We will also have a People’s Choice, but rather than tallying votes for that every night, the tally will be cumulative and the winner will be announced Monday. There has also been talk of having a "Best of Show" on Friday night, though that has yet to be decided. If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

The People’s Choice award will be judged by Oktoberfest patrons, who will be issued punchable cards and must purchase at least five 3oz. samples to be eligible to vote. When a patron purchases a sample, their card will be punched. The cards will double as ballots, which must be submitted no later than one hour prior to the close of Oktoberfest on Monday. After the ballots are counted, the winners will be announced and the award will be handed out, or delivered to the brewer after the Oktoberfest if the brewer is not present.
