On Monday, November 22nd, Blue Palms BrewHouse is organizing a loosely structured double-blind tasting of beers within a set theme-- this time, "Holiday and Seasonal Beers." The idea is that this is a way to strip away any pretensions and preconceptions about specific beers you are drinking, and to challenge and educate your palate about the flavors and aromas you experience.

Starting at 6 PM, we will do a "Brown Bag" tasting of various beers in small pours, and you can evaluate, rate, savor, and compare the beers to one another as part of the tasting. Price of admission? Just a bottle or two of beer that you bring in for the occasion. Any Holiday or Seasonal beer will do. This obviously opens up a wide range of possibilities, from Belgian Christmas beers to Oktoberfests or any number of other beers/styles. If you bring a 12-ounce bottle or can, please bring two (if possible-- if you only have one, just bring the one). Come join in on the fun and challenge yourself!

And as a holiday offering for our attendees, we will have a special menu of holiday dishes (for a nominal fee) to help us in celebration and to show thanks to our loyal patrons for another wonderful year with many wonderful beers.
