Please join us for three days of festivities celebrating the release of J.W. Lees Harvest Ale and the holiday season. On Wednesday, December 1st at 7 pm, we will host a $65 ticketed tasting of five extremely rare barley wines, paired with various cheeses from England and the US and a selection of charcuterie from our friend Gabriel Ross (of Dickson’s Farmstand Meats). The event is limited to 24 guests and will feature two wooden cask-matured Harvest Ales (Lagavulin and Willoughby’s Sherry) and a firkin of 2009 Harvest Ale. In addition, we will serve some very old rarities from Justin’s vintage collection for contrast and as a special treat. Please note: immediately following our opening ceremonies (described above), we will open to the general public at 9 PM on Wednesday to serve the remainder of these special casks with a totally reinvented small-plates food menu.
