Are you ready for this event?

This is going to be the biggest beer tasting event we have ever done, and lasts almost 4 months. Veritas is excited to announce Craft Beer Madness 2011.

What is Beer Madness?

Just like the popular basketball tournament that occurs every March, Beer Madness is a large blind tasting event of our top 64 craft beers. Through the process of several rounds you the customer will decide what our Beer champ for the year is.

How will it work?

Based on sales, popularity, and style of beer Veritas will rank each beer from 1 to 64 and put them in bracket style elimination tournament. Then through a series of all day blind beer tastings and customer votes beers will be eliminated until there is only one left. The only difference is that we will not release the names of the participant beers until to taste them first.
Here are the calendar events for the series of beer tastings.

February 26th - Preliminaries (North and South Bracket) (Taste 32 Beers)

March 19th – 2nd Round (All Brackets) (Taste 32 beers)

April 9th – Quarterfinals Semi Finals and Finals (Taste 31 beers)

We will make sure there are hotdogs and vegidogs plus plenty of college basketball on TV.
