Flying Saucer will take part in Stone Brewing Company’s “Stone Week” series of events by hosting a special Stone Brewing Co. release party on Tuesday, April 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at its 101 E. 13th St. location. This beer-lover’s event will be led by Greg Koch, Stone Brewing Co. co-founder and CEO.

The release party will feature 20 types of Stone Brewing Co. beers, including a handful of very rare brews. Attendees will have the opportunity to be one of the first in the country to enjoy a rare keg of Stone Smoked Porter, aged in bourbon barrels. Other highlights include Stone Smoked Porter with chipotle peppers; 2011 Stone Old Guardian BELGO Barley Wine; 2008 Stone Imperial Russian Stout, aged in bourbon barrels; and Stone 14th Anniversary Emperial IPA. Stone co-founder and CEO Greg Koch will introduce all of the beers and hang out with Saucer patrons.

Admission to the release party is free, but the event is expected to reach capacity, so early arrival is strongly recommended.
