San Diego Summer Beer Tasting Challenge

This is the second in a series of blind tastings focusing on San Diego breweries. Points are awarded at each event to help determine an invite only season finale tasting to crown the first annual BeerNerdz Champion. Look for the next tasting and sign up at www.beernerdz.com!

This unique blind tasting allows the seasoned beer connoisseur as well as the beer novice to test his or her skills in a fun, social setting. Guests will be given a scorecard with tasting notes, brewery and beer names, alcohol content, and IBU’s (bitterness scale) to help figure out what beer’s what. Compete against your friends to see who can name the most Summer Beers correctly. Summer Beer styles include Saisons, Pilsners, Wheat Beer, and Blondes. It’s an opportunity to sample and learn about some of San Diego’s best beers in a comfortable environment.

Event includes scorecard, souvenir tasting glass, light appetizers, bottled water, crackers to help cleanse your palate, recovery drink to help rehydrate you once your done and of course a sampling of San Diego’s Summer Beers.
