This coming Wednesday night brings a sampling of some seriously scarce English Barleywines to ChurchKey. J.W.Lees, the sixth generation family-owned producer of authentic English cask ale, has been gracious enough to send us a slew of ales showcasing what J.W. Lees has done most exceptionally since 1828: craft incredible cask ale!

Stright from Manchester comes four very different and unique versions of their annually anticipated Barleywine, J.W. Lees Harvest Ale. Each autumn, the brewery takes the first and finest crop of Maris Otter malt and East Kent Goldings hops to craft an intense, malt-driven strong ale of 11.5%. On this night we will be serving the 2010 vintage from a stainless steel cask as well as gravity-pouring the same vintage from a wood-clad gravity keg.
