Marchfest is Nelson’s "Hip harvest hop festival" .
Each year Marchfest celebrates the twilight of summer with a day of great beer and fabulous music. All the beers are specially brewed to make their world debut at Marchfest.
This year the theme is "special ingredient" and the 12 breweries and 2 cider makers have been asked add a secret something extra to their brews.
Five musical acts including Alabama 3, The Drab Doo Riffs, and local favourites the Immigrants will serenade the drinking, along with punk poet John Cooper Clarke.
Plenty for the kids to do too with an dedicated "Kidzone"
A wide variety of food will be on offer from a dozen or more of our passionate local producers.
