New Belgium La Folie 2012 Official Draft Debut & Deconstruction

Sunday, March 25, 2012 - 6 PM
1337 14th St. NW
Washington, DC, USA 20005

New Belgiumís incredible La Folie makes its way to our draft lines on Sunday, March 25... the very first time this fantastic brew has arrived on draft in Washington, DC! Not only will you have a chance to try La Folie 2012, but the woman behind this blended sour brown ale, New Belgiumís Master Blender Lauren Salazar will also be on hand all evening to talk about the intricacies of tasting, aging, and blending.

For those of you new to La Folie, it is yearly blended from a sour brown base ale (lovingly known as Oscar) that has been aged for 1, 2, and 3 years in French oak barrels (called young, mid & oude respectively). Lauren is kindly bringing us kegs of each of the three vintage-aged Oscars to pour alongside her final master blend, La Folie 2012. This is a very rare opportunity to taste this brew in its many stages. Itís La Folie, deconstructed! In addition, weíll also have a handful of other delicious New Belgium drafts flowing throughout the evening.
