Lambic & Sour Beer Festival

Details

Lambic & Sour Beer Festival

On Saturday, June 9th, Delilah’s will be hosting one of the most
comprehensive tastings of Lambic beers ever held in North America. We will be
tasting
every possible variety of this spontaneously fermented Belgian beer that we
can get our hands on, including but not limited to: Drie Fonteinen,
Lindemans, Liefmans, Hanssens, Cherish, Chapeau, Mort Subite, St. Louis,
Timmermans, Girardin, Belle Vue, Oud Beersel, Cantillon & Boon. We will have
three
vintages of Drie Fonteinen Gueuze from a cast of over a dozen different
Gueuzes, some very rare straight Lambic, a few highly sought after Faros (young
Lambic flavored with candy sugar and spices), and a complete selection of
fruit based Lambics (Framboise, Kriek, Peche...) all flavors and all possible
intensities -- around sixty Lambics in multiple vintages will be on hand.
Various representative international sour beers (La Folie, Lolita, Panil
Barrique, BFM, etc.) will also be available. This is guaranteed to be ideal for

both the new Lambic enthusiast as well as the long term aficionado. Again,
this tasting will take place on Saturday, June 9th from 12pm - 5pm, at
Delilah’s, 2771 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago (773) 472-2771. The cost is $20 for
twenty sample tickets and informational materials. Feel free to call with any
questions. Cheers. Delilahschicago.com
