Please join us for our 17th Annual Iowa City Brewfest and our 2nd Annual Northside Oktoberfest. Last year we had 378 different beers from 39 different states and countries, and this year will be MUCH BIGGER and MUCH BETTER. All proceedes go to the American Heart Association and the Horrace Mann Elemnetary Smart Boards campaign. Tickets go on sale August 1st, and can be purchased at www.johnsgrocery.com or at the store.
Brewmaster tickets are $40.00, and they get you a nice German made pilsner glass, 20 drink tickets, and one hour earlier admission into the festival. This time will be where a lot of the new, rare, vintage and one off beers will be featured.
Regular admission is $20.00 in advance, and gets you a sampling glass and 8 drink tickets. Additional drink tickets are $ .50 each. Servings are between 1 to 4 tickets, depending on the beer.
We will have 14 food vendors, multiple activities (keg bowling and the Munich Bar Wench challenge are back!) live music starting Friday night and going all day Saturday, huge kids fest featuring Soda Fest and a full Kids stage featuring Grammy nominated Justin Roberts performing from 10:00-1:00, a full harvest market, and many other fun events.
