An Evening w/ Anchor Brewing: Meet Legendary Brewmaster Mark Carpenter & Taste Amazing Anchor Ales!

When Mark Carpenter joined Anchor Brewing Company in 1971, he was just a beer-liking guy who wanted a job.

He never expected to make a career of it.

Forty years later, he is now Anchor’s Brewmaster. As a part of Anchor, Mark has had a front row seat in watching the development of the micro and craft brewing industries, both in the US and abroad...

Tuesday night provides a singular opportunity to toss a few delicious Anchor drafts back while chatting up the Brewmaster himself. Marl will be on hand regaling us with notes from 40 years in craft beer, and shining light on some of his very own Anchor creations.

Tops on our list is Mark’s newest creation, and the 2nd in the bourgeoning Zymaster Series, a sessionable, dark ale known as Mark’s Mild. But we are also ecstatic to taste Mark’s first creation for Anchor, Brekle’s Brown Ale, as well as the highly individualistic Small Beer, the exciting Humming Ale, as well as the full compliment of classic Anchor brews!

There is no admission fee for this event and all Anchor beers will be poured in 4 oz. tasters and full-glass pours.

The Anchor Brewing Company Draft List:
Anchor Zymaster Series #2: Mark’s Mild
Anchor Small Beer
Anchor Foghorn
Anchor Brekle’s Brown
Anchor Humming Ale
Anchor Summer
Anchor Steam
Anchor Liberty Ale
