Mid-Valley brewers celebrate Oregon Craft Beer Month

To celebrate Oregon Craft Beer Month, on Saturday, July 28th brewers from the Corvallis and Albany area will be hosting a community picnic at Afton Field Farm in Corvallis. The event will take place from noon until nine with each participating
brewery pouring two unique beers. There will also be a picnic-style buffet, live music, lawn games, farm tours, and a pig roast.

Twelve unique local craft brews and cider will be pouring from participating breweries including:

Block 15: Aborigional & Honey Wit
Calapooia Brewing: IPA & Pooya Porter
Flat Tail Brewing: Tailgater Kolsh & Goat Herbed IIPA
McMenamins: Ruby Raspberry Ale & Coper Moon Pale Ale
Oregon Trail Brewery: Gringo Ale & IPA
2 Towns Ciderhouse: InCider & Made Marion

Food!

Buffet style BBQ including Afton Farms whole roast hog, Afton Farms free range chicken, potato salad, baked beans, watermelon, potato chips, cornbread, & cookies.

Entertainment

Dunk a brewer charity dunk tank, 9 hole disc golf course, corn hole, and other lawn games.

Get There

Car and bike parking will be available on site. There will also be a shuttle bus looping through downtown Corvallis. Stops include Les Caves, Flat Tail, and McMenamins on Monroe. The bus will make three trips to Calapooia in Albany at 1pm, 4pm, and 9pm.

Admission

$5, includes live music, shuttle bus, raffle, and games.

Advance tickets are available at Calapooia, Flat Tail, Block 15, and Les Caves. $20 includes admission, a trip through the BBQ buffet, one beer or root beer, live music, games, and shuttle bus rides. ($23 value)

Environment!

All products used on site will be compostable. Lawn chairs and blankets encouraged. The picnic will take place under the oaks at the scenic Afton Field Farm, located at 3375 SW 53rd Street in Corvallis.

Afton Field Farm is a pasture-based, multi-generational family farm in Corvallis, Oregon, raising pastured poultry, pork, beef and lamb.
