JD Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival
This real-ale festival, we have 10 international ales, as well as 40 ales from around the UK.
The festival’s eight international brewers have travelled from all over the world – Australia, Canada, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands and USA, plus the return of
Toshiyuki Ishii (originally from Japan), now based in Guam, as well as two imported beers from Belgium.
As usual, there is a good range of ABVs, colours, styles and sizes of brewery, as well as good geographical spread. There is also the usual mix of special festive brews and new
beers, together with a few classics and old favourites. For our autumn real-ale festival, there is a good range of mid brown, dark brown and ruby-coloured beers to reflect
If cider is your tipple, or you fancy trying something new, we have 10 to choose from, including five news ones, such as Mr Whitehead’s Festival Special Perry and
Westons Twist Mulled Cider.
Hopefully, there is an ale or cider for everyone to enjoy, so why not begin your journey through our tasting notes, starting with the first ale?http://www.jdwrealale.co.uk/static/pdfs/Tasting-Notes-October-2012.pdf
